1. Introduction

Welcome to Listing2Sheets ("we," "our," or "us"). Listing2Sheets is a Chrome extension and web service that enables users to export Zillow property listings to Google Sheets. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our website, Chrome extension, and services at listing2sheets.com. This policy applies to all users of the Service, including visitors to our website, free plan users, and paid subscribers.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our Service:

Account Information

When you register for an account, we collect your username, email address, and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.

Google Account Data

When you authorize Listing2Sheets to access your Google Sheets, we collect and store the following data on our server: your Google email address, a Google OAuth access token, a Google OAuth refresh token, and the token expiry timestamp. These are stored solely to authenticate API requests to Google Sheets on your behalf. We do not store any Google Sheets content, spreadsheet data, or any other data from your Google account.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use our Service, including your export history, the property listing data you choose to export, and your subscription status.

Technical Data

We automatically collect certain technical information when you visit our website, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, and referring page. This data helps us maintain security and improve our Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

To provide, maintain, and improve the Listing2Sheets Service, including exporting property listing data to your Google Sheets.

To authenticate your identity and authorize requests to the Google Sheets API on your behalf using the stored OAuth tokens.

To process your subscription and manage your account.

To communicate with you about service updates, support requests, and important notices.

To analyze usage patterns to improve our product and user experience.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, including personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising.

4. Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure

Listing2Sheets' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, we limit our use of Google user data as follows:

We only use your Google OAuth tokens and Google email address to authenticate requests and write property listing data to Google Sheets that you designate. We do not access any other Google services or data.

We do not transfer your Google user data to third parties, except as necessary to provide or improve the Service (i.e., making API calls to Google Sheets on your behalf), as required by applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with your explicit prior consent.

We do not use your Google user data for serving advertisements, including personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising.

We do not sell your Google user data to third parties, advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers.

We do not use your Google user data to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes.

Humans do not read your Google user data unless you have given us affirmative consent for a specific purpose (such as technical support), it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), it is necessary to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

5. Chrome Web Store — User Data Policy Compliance

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Our Chrome extension collects only the data necessary to provide its core functionality of exporting Zillow property listings to Google Sheets. The extension does not collect or use web browsing activity beyond what is required to identify and extract property listing data from zillow.com pages that you actively choose to export.

We handle all user data securely, including transmitting it via modern cryptography (HTTPS/TLS).

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data, including your Google OAuth tokens, is stored in a secure database on our servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including:

Encryption of all data in transit using SSL/TLS.

Secure password hashing.

Access controls that limit data access to authorized personnel only.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Third-Party Services

We share your data with the following third-party services only as necessary to provide the Service:

Paddle.com

Our payment processor and Merchant of Record. When you subscribe to a paid plan, Paddle handles all payment processing, billing, invoicing, and tax compliance. We do not store your payment card details. Paddle's use of your payment information is governed by Paddle's Privacy Policy.

Google Sheets API

When you use Listing2Sheets to export data, we use your stored OAuth tokens to make authenticated requests to the Google Sheets API. We access only the Google Sheets API (using the spreadsheets scope) to create and write data to spreadsheets in your Google account. We do not access, read, or modify any existing spreadsheet data beyond what is necessary for the export operation you initiate.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data, including your Google OAuth tokens and email, for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete all associated personal data, including your Google OAuth tokens, within 30 days of your request.

You may revoke Listing2Sheets' access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access will invalidate the stored tokens and prevent further API requests on your behalf.

9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the Service to function properly. These include an authentication cookie to keep you signed in and a language preference cookie (.Listing2Sheets.Culture) to remember your chosen language. We do not use any tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

Regardless of where you are located, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.

Request correction of inaccurate personal data.

Request deletion of your account and all associated data, including your Google OAuth tokens.

Export your data in a portable format.

Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.

Additional Rights for Users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom

If you are located in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to: object to the processing of your personal data; request restriction of processing; lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Our legal basis for processing your personal data is: contract performance (to provide the Service you have signed up for), legitimate interests (to improve and secure our Service), and consent (for optional data processing, which you may withdraw at any time).

11. Children's Privacy

Listing2Sheets is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
